Assembly - $1200.00

This is for short block assembly.
Clearance all seals, and bearings (includes removal and installation of bearings if needed)
Shot blast rotor housings and front cover.
Shot blast side housings before surfacing to remove all scale from water passages.
Re-paint side housings
All our engines look and function like brand new when completed.

Resurface Side Housings - $275.00 w/rebuild - $325.00 w/o rebuild

Housings are ground flat, and then lightly precision sanded to provide a minimum surface finish of 15rms measured across the grain.

We prefer grinding to lapping for 2 reasons.

Below is the quote from Paul Yaw of www.yawpower.com, on why we grind, not lap.

1. Grinding ensures that the opposing surfaces remain parallel. Lapping provides a flat surface, but does not have a mechanical reference to the opposing surface. Grinding involves mounting the housing to an electromagnet which is parallel to the grinding wheel travel so that dimensional accuracy is maintained.

2. A housing that is lapped mirror smooth will have little or no oil retention. This is clearly illustrated when applying assembly lube to a mirror finished housing. Rather than spreading evenly across the surface, the lube will bead up much like water on a freshly waxed car. Our process leaves some grain intact to hold oil on the surface, and the light finish lap flattens the top of the peaks ensuring that the seals have a smooth finish to ride on. This approach is more time consuming, therefore more expensive. This has proven to give the best housing and seal wear, along with a quick break in period.

Dynamic Balancing - $375.00

To properly balance a rotating assembly you need a process that reflects the real operating conditions of that engine. Many balancers simply weigh the rotors, place the bob weights and balance to that. Obviously this is only part of the picture. Our proprietary "dynamic" balancing technique results in a much smoother running motor than these "static" balances will give you. The smoothness results in more even wear of both bearings and seals and result in longer engine life. This is a critical element of a high revving engine whether it is destined for the street or the track.

Porting

Porting can vary a great deal from one motor to the next, but the prices below should give you a rough idea. The prices below also reflect intake and exhaust ports.

note: The prices below include intake and exhaust ports.

"Street Porting" for 4 port street engine - $400.00
"Street Porting" for 6 port street engine - $450.00
"Street Porting" for high power applications - $600.00
"Street Porting" for 20b 3-rotor - $700
"Race Porting" For off road use, no emissions required - $1000.00
"Bridge Porting" - $850.00 to $2,000.00
"Flow Bench Testing" included in high power, race and bridge ports - $150.00
